Tyler, much to the joy of family and friends, participated in Northglenn's Challenger Baseball program for special needs children during Summer 2007 (photo above) and did so again in 2008.  It is only due to the extensive therapy programs that Tyler's parents have arranged for him -- including the medically supervised ketogenic diet that helped control his seizures at a young age -- that Tyler is able to play baseball.  Ty's big brother Clay is also an avid baseball player -- in summer 2009, Clay and his Dad are going with Clay's team to play in Cooperstown, NY.
